Jennifer Petersen is not only highly skilled but also one of the most warm and dedicated individuals I’ve had the pleasure of working with. As Office Administrator at Groveland Congregational Church during my time as Interim Pastor, Jennifer’s kindness, efficiency, and ability to connect with everyone she encountered made her indispensable. She has a unique gift for making people feel heard and valued, and her commitment to serving others is truly inspiring. Jennifer would bring that same heart and excellence to the role of Town Clerk, making her the perfect choice for Groveland.

She has served our community church in two positions simultaneously. Her work is shared by being Financial Secretary as well as being our Church Office Administrator. Duties have included document preparation, including payroll accounts, weekly church bulletins, monthly calendar scheduling, special public events, assistance on holiday programs, newsletter fulfillment, purchasing and spending reports, additionally being available to members who request baptisms, weddings, funeral arrangements and so on.

Her calm approach in dealing with issues has made concerns much easier on members, staff and guests more comfortable. Jen strives to be ahead of the curve in developing yearly financial data for the Annual Meeting reports. She is always prepared and is always available for assistance with any concerns that might pop up. Jen maintains a calm attitude toward her work, invites Members and guests in becoming part of our church Family and in general strives always in making the church experience wonderful.
It has been my pleasure to have hired Jen, to have worked side by side with her and to have had the pleasure of her skills making lives easier than expected! The Church Family has been well served by Jen, and she shall be missed.
